Aviation Projects provided expert advice and guidance on a range of matters including the preparation of initial demand forecasts and scope of aircraft operations, concept layouts, concept airspace and aircraft flight paths and consideration of various other planning and operations matters. They have also provided advice on aeronautical infrastructure requirements and costs and operational advice on a variety of matters. Aviation Projects was able to assist with the introduction and ongoing operation of B747-800F aircraft by preparing a safety case that was approved by CASA.

Background
Daniel is a Chartered Accountant with almost 20 years’ experience gained in large Australian organisations. Commencing his career in External Audit in a Big 4 accounting firm, he then spent 8 years in Macquarie Bank’s Real Estate Group, holding a number of senior finance and business positions, and involved in all aspects of accounting for, managing and assessing property investments and developments.
He then held senior finance positions including Divisional Financial Controller at Lend Lease Corporation and Mirvac Group, before moving into Transport and Logistics with Patrick Terminals and Logistics. There, Daniel significantly redesigned all management reporting processes and contributed to an increase in divisional profitability during a period of significant industry and competitive change.
From 2015 to 2018 he was the Financial Controller of Brisbane Airport Corporation, leading the day to day accounting team, responsible for budgeting and forecasting and all financial and management reporting. Daniel also prepared and delivered presentations to the Board and external stakeholders.
Daniel has extensive budgeting/ forecasting, strategic planning and performance reporting skills and brings a strong focus on team leadership and business partnering to the team. His overarching principle is to simplify complex financial problems and concepts.
