At Aviation Projects, we support several worthy causes and charities in our broader community and the aviation community. We believe helping those in need can make our employees feel more content and fulfilled with the work they do.

We provide support in a variety of ways, including monetary donations, physical donations, volunteer hours, and participation in events.

 

AviAssist Foundation is an independent, international, and impartial non-profit organisation, championing the cause of aviation safety in Africa. We provide expert volunteering support to the foundation to help grow their understanding and knowledge base of aviation safety.

 

Books4PNGKids collects donations of new and used books for children aged 0-14 years and distributes them to worthy recipients in Papua New Guinea. We participate in various collection and packing activities throughout the calendar year.

 

The Movember Foundation is tackling some of the biggest health issues faced by men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention. The Aviation Projects team participates in Movember each year in various ways, with a view to inform ourselves, while raising awareness for men’s health issues, including prostate cancer, testicular cancer and men’s suicide.

Aviation Projects was the winner of the prestigious AAA National Airport Industry 2014 award for Corporate Project of the Year (Less than 30 staff), for its involvement in the development of the Busselton Regional Airport Upgrade Project, Business Case.

Aviation Projects provided valuable and detailed contributions to Busselton Regional Airport’s business case for the proposed expansion of its services. This contribution was comprehensive and included an infrastructure cost estimate, operational modelling, financial risk analysis as well as a project and funding timeline.

 

Aviation Projects' contribution in developing and delivering the above mentioned outcomes was critical to the preparation of the Western Australian Government Business Case. Aviation Projects' specialist knowledge in developing the outcomes and presentation of reports was timely and professional throughout the project.
