It is vitally important for safe, efficient and reliable aircraft operations that an airport’s operational airspace is protected for current and future needs.
Further, airport developments should be planned to so that they deliver cost-effective, operationally efficient, technically compliant and future-proofed aviation infrastructure solutions.
These fundamental requirements apply around the world.

In September 2018, Managing Director Keith Tonkin travelled to Kigali, Rwanda to support Tom Kok and the Aviassist Foundation's activities during the inaugural African Aviation Week.
He presented a one day short course on Airport Planning and Airspace Protection for a group of enthusiastic participants from Rwanda Civil Aviation Authority and Rwandair, and then delivered a presentation on Operational Risk at Airports at the two day Safety in African Aviation conference.
