Background

Simon Scott is an experienced senior manager and consultant with proven ability to deliver outcomes in constrained resource environments. His strengths include high-level stakeholder engagement skills, analytical and problem-solving skills and a high capacity to adapt in technically challenging regulatory environments. Simon serves as a specialist capability officer in the RAAF Reserves.

Simon has provided advice to CASA Aerodromes & Airspace Managers, Safety Advisers and Flying Operations Inspectors on airspace and aerodrome impacts and relevant legislation. He has undertaken research and drafted briefings on emerging technologies, legislative change and matters affecting the safety of air navigation.

  • Remotely Piloted Aircraft Auditor’s Course - Southpac Aerospace
  • Master of Science and Technology in Aviation - University of NSW
  • Certificate II in Airside Operations
  • Private Pilot’s License
