Syed has extensive professional experience in the aviation industry, with a particular focus on aviation safety management and operations.
As an Airport Safety Auditor, Sayed has led regulatory compliance and quality assurance audits for multiple Canadian airports. His experience involved safety investigations, development of corrective action plans, and writing key operational manuals such as the Airport Operational Manual (AOM) and Safety Management Manual (SMM).
At Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport, Syed managed daily operations, improving efficiency and customer satisfaction by overseeing key departments and implementing performance strategies.
Syed’s experience in safety management systems, aerodrome certification processes and technical writing, position him to maintain high safety and compliance standards. He has a comprehensive understanding of aerodrome licensing and renewal procedures, as well as ICAO Annex 14 and Annex 19.
