Aviation Projects is excited to be awarded the contract renewal to continue our Aerodrome Operations Service at Redcliffe Aerodrome (YRED). Nestled on the picturesque shores of Moreton Bay, Redcliffe Aerodrome is a hub for aviation enthusiasts, and has recently undergone pleasing developments with the implementation of an updated line marking plan.

The carefully painted lines and symbols on runways and taxiways may not always be a point of interest, however they play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and secure air traffic operations.

The line marking plan included the aerodrome apron, taxiways, and one of the main project focuses being the aircraft parking bays.

With great communication, even better operators, and an interesting game of musical parking bays, the project took approximatley 40 hours overall to complete. At its conclusion, the pave team and our resident ARO Sharna Tonkin were pleased to see the YRED pavement looking fresh.
