Airport Safety Week 2026, held from 12–16 October, brought Australia’s aviation industry together to reinforce the importance of safety across our airports and aerodromes.
Led by the Australian Airports Association (AAA), this year’s theme, Your Influence Matters. Every Action. Every Conversation. Every Airport., highlighted the role that individuals, teams and organisations play in maintaining a strong and proactive safety culture.
From identifying operational hazards and managing wildlife risks to maintaining compliant infrastructure and protecting airspace, effective aviation safety relies on consistent attention, clear communication and informed decision-making.
At Aviation Projects, safety underpins everything we do. Through our expertise in aerodrome safeguarding, aviation risk assessments, safety management systems and regulatory compliance, we support airport operators and aviation stakeholders in identifying risks and maintaining safe, efficient operations.
While Airport Safety Week provides an important opportunity to recognise our industry’s shared commitment, its message extends well beyond a single week.
