At Aviation Projects, we recognise International Women’s Day this month by celebrating the growing impact of women across the aviation industry.
As the sector continues to evolve, women are breaking barriers and shaping the future of aviation. We are proud to support this progress through strong female representation within our own team and by highlighting their achievements both inside and outside the workplace.
Inspiration starts early, and AP's Operations Support Officer, Lakshmi Vadlamoodi (Lucky) is helping lead the way by writing books that encourage young women to explore their own aviation careers. This month, Lucky launched her book: From Dreams to Runways (for ages 9-15 years). Inspired by real women in aviation, this heartwarming story invites young girls to dream boldly.
Lucky's work is sparking curiosity and shows the next generation of women that aviation is a space where they can not only belong, but thrive.
You can find From Dreams to Runways, and many more by visiting Lucky’s Book Collection. For Instagram users, click here.
Aviation Projects is committed to fostering inclusion and supporting the future of women in aviation.
